No Finish Line Running - New Hampshire

Good morning! With my time drawing nearer to retirement from the Air National Guard I am excited about moving to North Carolina to join my wife. The obvious question I often get is; “What about No Finish Line Running?” For as long as I have been a running coach in New Hampshire and then starting NFLR, I have been planning for this challenging time. Not ever being sure exactly how it would work the plan I have always had was that No Finish Line Running would continue being the premier running resource in New Hampshire and Southern Maine. There have been many ideas as to what NFLR would look like and how it would function and thankfully it has played itself in a wonderful way. NFLR is not only going to continue with our goal of providing the Dover, Portsmouth and Rochester areas with the best certified running coaches but, also the running resources such as Gait Analysis, Pilates, group and corporate training. Over the past few years we have been blessed to have some great runners that have truly embraced the NFLR approach and became interested in being a part of our team as coaches. I am so proud that we will have Doug and Katie Mackinnon, Julie Butterfield, Deanna Swallow and Amy Spencer all becoming certified Road Runner Club of America running coaches. These 5 will join my daughter Jennifer and Meghan Churchill to give Southern New Hampshire and Maine the best resources for all levels of runners. While Jennifer is the most experienced of the team, the others will continue to develop as coaches and as a team. We are also fortunate to have Kate Dickinson so assist us with some of front of the pack runners as well! Having handpicked this team I am really excited that we will not only maintain NFLR in New Hampshire but, it will thrive! Kathy and I will continue to be active with NFLR-NH and making nearly monthly visits to help out as well as stay tuned in. We will also be developing an NFLR-NC branch that will be considerably less of a footprint initially but, will eventually grow to be similar to NFLR-NH. Together we will be “No Finish Line Running,” with the only differences being the locations. The great thing about technology is it allows us to build a model that is not limited geographically. Pretty exciting times for all of us at NFLR! If you there’s any doubt that NFLR-NH will continue strong with Kathy and I located a few miles down the road, all you have to is look at our plans for the remainder of 2016: - Finish up our Winter Running Group - Mid-April: Yet to be named Spring/Summer Beginner to Intermediate Training Group - Mid-April: Corporate Training Group for “Stone Wall Kitchen” - Mid-July: Advanced 10K Training Group (Track workouts included) - Early August: Destination Training Group (White Mountain Milers Half Marathon and Relay) - November: Winter Training Group Begins - Running Form Analysis (Gait Analysis) - Individual Coaching for runners - Pilates for runners So you can see we have a lot going on here in New Hampshire and a growing team of certified coaches to provide technical and fun training! As I said Kathy and I will continue to have a strong presents here in New Hampshire but, we are really proud to have a team that will help NFLR provide top running coaching and group opportunities to the Seacoast and beyond! Time to move along. Hope you have a great Sunday and a super week ahead! See you on the roads! God Bless! Mike
